On the Road for Good

Job: logo and brand design

Client: independent journalist focusing on positive news

Tone: joyful, friendly, fun

The creator of this project was ready to hit the road. She planned to live out of her camper trailer, travel the country, and use her vast experience in journalism and digital media to tell the stories of people doing good—serving their communities, starting charities, or simply lending a helping hand. Her goal was to spread some joyful, positive news in a largely negative news landscape. She created On the Road for Good as a brand under which she could release all her content.

She wanted her trailer to be a central part of her branding, so I created a simplified illistration of the old-school Trilliumn trailer to use as the logo. She also had a need for a body of visuals to accompany text-based content, so I created a network of related icons and illustrations as well as templates for quote graphics to use across social media platforms.
